God is generous.  And He calls us to be generous as well. What we do with God's blessing only strengthens His Kingdom here on earth.  Our financial commitment helps proclaim the gospel and provides necessary services, goods and blessings to our community. Our tithes and offerings glorify God with every area of our lives, and insures our purpose to preach the Kingdom and destroy the works of the enemy.

There are two forms of giving in the New Testament:
1.) We are to Plan and budget a percentage of our income regularly and set it aside to partner with the Lord and His will for His Kingdom. We are to be generous because the Lord has been generous to us. The following scriptures support this:

1 Corinthians 16:2 NLT
"On the first day of each week, you should each put aside a portion of the money you have earned..."

2 Corinthians 9:7-11 NLT
”You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.“

2.) Sow a Seed into the Kingdom of God. You can't expect fruit without planting a seed. So we can Sow a Seed and Expect a harvest! Partner with The Lord on what he is doing at THE WELL CHURCH right here at home.  You can Sow a seed directly into the ministry you want to see fruit from including:
- Giving a percentage of your income or assets
- General offering for operating funds or unrestricted needs
- Youth/Student Ministry
- Scholarship Fund
- Missions
- Sr. Pastor Appreciation
- Building Fund
- Destiny Childcare Development Center
- Cross Worship
- Other ways as God calls you go give

What Happens When You Give?

Where does The Well Church get its money?

Our support comes from members, visitors, and donors who tithe, give what they can afford, and donate. It is normal for anyone that calls The Well church “home” to support the church financially.   Without this needed support, we would not be able to provide needed programs, services, food pantry, childcare, and other needs to the community provided as a nonprofit (Acts. 4:32-34).

Tithing is OUR (Body of Christ) Act of Faith that loudly proclaims to the world  that WE believe JESUS LIVES! (Hebrews 7:8). It's our active commitment to spreading the gospel through works, goods and services.

Which funds can I contribute to?
