Come and Learn (Part 1) // Pastor Troy Culbeth
Join us as we explore three foundational instructions Jesus gave to every believer: Follow Me, Come to Me, and Go with Me. Although many churches and Christians excel in operating spiritual gifts—singing, preaching, prophesying—they often miss the essence of how Jesus called us to live. These instructions come with promises: transformation when we follow Him (Matthew 4:19), restoration when we come to Him (Matthew 11:28), and His abiding presence when we go and make disciples (Matthew 28:19). In particular, we dive deep into Jesus’ invitation to "Come to Me," unpacking His call for us to exchange the burdens of life for His light and gentle yoke. Through Matthew 11:28-30, we learn that when we attach ourselves to Jesus, we find rest, breaking free from the weight of the world and religious rituals that provide no peace. The journey is about loving God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and living a life devoted to Him. Stay tuned as we further explore how these principles shape our lives as true disciples of Christ.
